What They Say:
"It was a pleasure to work with a pro. At best proposals are not
easy nor pleasant to do but you made it painless. I hope we have an
opportunity to work together in the future. I am confident that AVA will
be very competitive and in the end the winner. Best of luck to you."
"This proposal was unusually good. It read like a book from beginning to end."
Evaluator at the debriefing.

Short fuse-
This engineering proposal was an intense 10-straight-day effort. When it was over, AVA had design
a workable and cost-effective solution and our proposal went out the door on time. It was a tremendous team effort,
working from early morning to late evening and eating all three meals together in-house.
Parachuting in-
Half way through the proposal and far away in Alberto, Canada a proposal manager was taken sick with some
3 1/2 weeks remaining until proposal delivery. Although there was no parachuting, it did require plopping in
and taking over the good, bad, and the ugly. The nice thing about it was that we won!
The Air Force’s IMP and IMS requirements-
The core of this engineering effort was to prove our capability by submitting, with our proposal, a completed
Integrated Management Plan and Schedule, detailing how we would develop and supply Tactical Area Security Systems.
Again, this was a pleasant win and a $500 million contract.
As big as they get-
This was more than a six-month effort for a very large telecommunications supplier. We filled in for the VOIPS
Subject Matter Expert until the real expert arrived. We then took up the formidable tasks of Disaster Recovery Plans and
Section-508 compliance for all equipment and services.
Helping the Germans-
This was the company producing the optical devices imbedded and hot-stamped into currencies to thwart counterfeiting.
Their devices are in virtually all of the European currencies as well as numerous others throughout the world. Our task was to
respond to the US Bureau of Engraving and Printing for use in the hundred-dollar bill.
